The premise.

• The will’s public version freezes control with the executor for one year; the private version names a test and an unnamed heir.
• Juno enters as a mailroom temp under the name Juno Cale; only the executor knows her face.
• The checklist has ten items; the audience learns them one at a time as the executor grades her, always after the fact.
• The three siblings, denied the company, are owed enormous cash settlements if no heir qualifies: their incentive is disqualification, not murder.
• Grandfather’s letters to her late mother, found in the estate, become Juno’s only guide to the man who is testing her from the grave.

• Juno Cale / Juno Ambrose-Reyes — F, 26, mailroom temp and secret heir. Raised by a single mother who never explained the monthly envelopes or the man in one photograph.
